Take in a special exhibit of some 75 pieces of turn-of-the century glass donated to the Smithsonian Institution by manufacturers of that era. Also on view are objects related to methods of manufacture. Two types of handmade glass are on display: art glass by Tiffany and Frederick Carder, and cut and engraved glass by Libbey, Hawkes and Dorflinger.
The exhibit opens with the culmination of the International Glass Conference's 1982 meeting.
