Floral motifs as decoration plus gardens, real and imaginary, from many time periods are on view in some 500 objects—ceramics, glass, silver, wallpaper, textiles, metalwork—and some 200 architectural drawings. Items from the collection are augmented by loans from other museums and collectors. In addition, live plants are on view in the Cooper-Hewitt Conservatory and Garden.
Summer sales shop, The Trellis, includes an array of merchandise.
