Explored are the ideas and achievements of the noted American architectural theorist, designer, and educator (1869-1959).
Featured in the exhibition are:
- two architectural theaters
- a full-scale Usonian Automatic House designed in 1955, but never built (remained on view through Oct. 31, 1988)
- furnishings designed by Wright
- photographs, drawings, and floorplans; and models, including a large-scale plan for the Arizona State Capitol.
This traveling exhibition is organized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesen West Foundation and the Scottsdale Arts Center, both in Scottsdale, Arizona.
