Five Distinguished Alumni: The WPA Federal Art Project

This exhibition commemorates the centennial of FDR's birth. On view are 15 recent works by 5 major contemporary artists who were on the Federal Arts Project (WPA), a Roosevelt-initiated program. Included are 3 works each, dating from 1971 to the present, by Ilya Bolotowski, James Brooks, Willem De Kooning, Ibram Lassaw, and Alice Neel.
