On view are 48 works suggesting the scope of the museum's holdings, particularly the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The works are also selected because, in some cases, they had rarely been shown, and yet they demonstrated the strength of American drawing. Artists represented include Stuart Davis, Willem de Kooning, Marsden Hartley, Jacob Kainen, Mark Tobey, Claude Buck, Bruce Moore, and Rose O'Neill.
