The exhibition features works by the artist (1874-1953), well-known for his beautiful and scientifically accurate paintings of dinosaurs and other prehistoric forms of life and their environments. On view are more than 100 works by the artist, including oil paintings, gouaches, pencil drawings, watercolors, and sculptures. Subject matter represented by the works spans the entire prehistoric world, from ancient marine life to early reptiles, dinosaurs, Ice Age mammals, and early man.
