China's Inner Frontier

On view are prints from over 100 photographs taken by F.R. Wulsin's 1923 expedition to northwest China. The photographs, taken on one of the few Western expeditions to this region, portray the people and their way of life as well as panoramic landscapes.
The exhibition, currently on tour, was organized under the auspices of Harvard's Peabody Museum; the photographs are on loan from the Peabody Museum and the National Geographic Society.
