Drawn from the museum's permanent collection, this exhibition traces the use of the bridge in contemporary art as a symbol of modern technology and the urban environment. Included are some 40 paintings and works on paper, primarily early 20th century, by Ralston Crawford, Thomas Eakins, Joseph Stella, and others, as well as photographs from the magazine Camera Work.
