The 59 works on view, selected from Pacific Coast museums, comprise one of a series of exhibitions initiated by Joan Mondale at the Vice President's House. Included are paintings, prints, watercolors, photographs, sculpture, and crafts. Among artists represented are Robert Arneson, Larry Bell, Imogen Cunningham, Willem de Kooning, Robert Irwin, Helen Lundeberg, Sam Maloof, Clyfford Still, Wayne Thiebaud, Mark Tobey, and H.D. Westermann.
