On view are approximately 120 sculptures, medals, and works on paper drawn from holdings which the artist bequeathed to American Art. Manship produced a variety of work—in figurative and Art Deco styles—although he is known primarily for his numerous public commissions—including Prometheus at Rockefeller Center in New York; the Woodrow Wilson Memorial for the League of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland; and the Time and Fates sundial for the 1939 New York World's Fair.
