On view are silver coffee and tea services designed by 11 internationally known architects. Their designs, commissioned by an Italian housewares manufacturer, were executed by Italian silversmiths. The coffee and tea pots, creamers, sugar bowls, and trays reflect the individual sense of design of architects Michael Graves, Hans Hollein, Charles Jencks, Richard Meier, Alessandro Mendini, Paolo Portoghesi, Aldo Rossi, Stanley Tigerman, Oscar Tusquets, Robert Venturi, and Kazumasa Yamashita.
Organized by the Max Protetch Gallery, New York.
