On view are a variety of portrayals ranging from crude relief cuts to fine mezzotint portraits executed by Washington's contemporaries. In addition to 40 prints, the exhibit includes books, almanacs, and magazines. Artists represented include Charles Willson Peale, Charles Saint-Memin, Edward Savage, and Joseph Wright.
