From simple sketches to highly finished compositions, they represent the rich possibilities of abstraction as a mode of artistic expression. Artists represented include Joseph Cornell, Willem de Kooning, Gene Davis, Jacob Kainen, Man Ray, Theodore Roszak, and Sean Scully.
