Twelve trees decorated with handcrafted ornaments reflect our ethnic heritages, crafts of historic periods, and nature. The 1983 themes are: 

  • Germany 
  • Nutcracker Suite 
  • State Birds & Flowers 
  • Muslin & Lace 
  • Tole & Decorative Painting 
  • Crocheted Snowflakes 
  • Nature's Bounty 
  • Folk Art Tree 
  • Red, White & Blue 
  • Legend of the Spider 
  • Scandinavia 
  • American Crafter's Tree

The exhibition is accompanied by sculptures on loan from contemporary New York artist, William Accorsi.

Some glass ornaments used on the American Crafter's tree, located on the second floor, are on sale in the museum shop.
