The Statue of Liberty and American eagle rest in the V for Victory symbol. A five-cent United States Scott 921 is canceled with a First Day of Issue slogan killer. The cover is postmarked Washington, D.C., November 2, 1944. This cachet was a product of Jacques Minkus.
