The Wonders of Chocolate: Food Demonstration & Discussion 1

The Power of Chocolate is a two-day festival that celebrates the culture, history, science, and cuisine of the Mesoamerican cacao. In this program, Jerome Grant, Executive Chef of the museum's acclaimed Mitsitam Café, demonstrates several dishes including the savory chocolate and adobo brined pork chop, a tasty wild grain bar that is gluten- and nut-free along with a dessert of white chocolate and parsnip ice cream, popped quinoa and a cherry compote. Botanist Diana Xochitl Munn (Mazatec), Director of Public Programs, Harvard Museums of Science and Culture at Harvard University, joins him to add cultural andd botanic commentary.
