    Collected by Sergeant William Osborne Douglas (ca. 1895-1978, of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police) between 1913 and 1923; possibly acquired by Edward Wade Darbey (1872-1922, a Winnipeg, Manitoba, taxidermist and owner of an Indian curio store); purchased for MAI in 1925 in Winnipeg by anthropologist and MAI field agent William (Willem) Wildschut (1883-1955), possibly from Edward Darbey's widow, Edith H. Parker Darbey (1875-1965).
