    Description

    Electric blender.
    Base: Green plastic base, graduated in size, with metal mechanics and bottom. 4 black rubber prongs and rotating black plastic mounting disk at top for holding accompanying pitcher. Front of base has attached metal plate, faux wood grain, with Waring logo and "waring/BLENDER/Solid State" printed, 8 rectangular white push buttons at front, printed above: "OFF/WHIP/CHOP/MIX/GRATE/PUREE/BLEND/LIQUIFY". Metal bottom, gray sticker attached, printed: "BLENDER CC-8 MODEL 1186/50 TO 60 HZ AC ONLY/120 VOLTS 5.9 AMPS 720 WATTS/U.S. PAT. NOS. 2,109,501 201,169/WARING PRODUCTS DIVISION/DYNAMICS CORPORATION OF AMERICA/NEW HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A./ATTACH. SERIES M SER. NO. 1186", and with "DCA and "W" logos on either side. Three black rubber feet. Retractable black rubber two-pronged power cord wound inside the base.
    Box: Cardboard, rectangular, printed in blue on all sides.

    Pitcher: Footed, quatrefoil-shaped cylinder, colorless molded glass, translucent, with finely fluted exterior walls and side handle. 4-blade metal chopper mounted on inside bottom. Recessed underside and metal, wagon-wheel shaped connection in bottom center for mounting on base. Lip at top of container. Measurements in ounces and cups are embossed on exterior. “12” embossed on exterior bottom.
    Lid: Black rubber, flat-topped lid, quatrefoil shape, with a hole in center and flange which allows it to fit over pitcher top. Clear, molded plastic removable stopper/finial fits into hole, molded sides, Waring logo embossed on top, “2 OZ” embossed on underside, was likely also intended to be used for measuring.
