    Description

    White stoneware, thrown. Elongated-ovoid cylindrical body with short raised neck; no foot. Decorated with an atmospheric landscape scene. Lower third of body is light green. Central body is occupied by trees and brush in foreground; lake in middle ground, and trees in low hills in background. Top third is decorated with sky that transitions from pale yellow, to light blue, and dark blue at the rim. Exterior: slip underglaze, transparent matte Vellum glaze; crackled. Interior and bottom: glaze.
