Description
Operating the UCLA differential analyzer sometimes involved turning handles like these. Three of these six handles are attached to a whte crank-piece which in turn is attached to a metal rod. A fourth handle also is attached to a white crank-piece which has a shorter rod and a clamp on it. A fifth and sixth handle are attached to silver-colored crank-pieces with short rods that have elbow joints attached to their ends and extend to second, brass-colored rods that both have numerous clamps attached to them..
