    Description

A pair of blue and yellow Adidas track shoes used by Carl Lewis. The body of the shoes are primarily made of blue synthetic, a darker blue suede is used along the toe and heel. Three diagonal yellow stripes with zigzag edges are machine sewn on both sides of the shoes. The shoes have a blue tongue made of foam, a yellow rectangle with black lettering and the Adidas logo is stamped at the top of the tongue. The lettering is largely illegible and has faded. The eye stay is made of thick blue synthetic and has seven holes on each side. White cotton twill laces are woven though the eyelets and end in plastic aglets. The sole of each shoe is made of discolored textured plastic, a plastic spike plate is adhered to the front of the sole. The spike plate contains seven metal spike holes, three on each side of the shoe and one at the center. The inside of each shoe is made of cream knitted synthetic and brown synthetic. A foam insole printed with the Adidas logo and the text [adidas] is inside each shoe.
