    Description

    Coarse white earthenware body with press-molded design of single tulip and leaves. Mat glazes in dark red and light green, with butterscotch mat glaze on blossom. The tulip blossom is divided symetrically by thin walls of clay, the raised contours partitioning the inlaid glazes. Palette is naturalistic with "Grueby green" between the leaves and the background.
