Description

Light buff earthenware body with press-molded design of trees in a landscape. Various mat glazes inlight green, dark green, brown and blues defined by raised partitions. The design of this tile is associated with a group of eight tiles that when placed together form a fireplace frieze entitled "The Pines". Each element of the design is segmented by cloisons of clay, the raised contours partitioning the inlaid glazes. Copper frame.
