Object Details
Summary
Wrist teathers like this one used with the IMAX camera are a safe way to ensure objects do not float away from astronauts or the spacecraft during extended periods of use. The two-part closure mechanism does not permit for accidental release of the latch.
NASA transferred this tether to the Museum with two others and other IMAX camera equipment in 2012.
