Description
Landscape sketch showing a view of a vivid sunset over the Hudson River Valley looking toward the Catskill Mountains in the background. The brilliant pink-red clouds glow from the setting sun and are reflected in the Hudson River below. A heavily wooded island is visible in the river at center right. A small figure walks along the bank in the foreground at left and appears to hold a fishing pole or rifle.
