    Description

    Stacking tea service consisting of (a,b) warmer and metal insert; (c,d) water pot and cover, and (e,f) teapot and cover. All pieces, except (b) are glazed in brilliant orange inside and out. (a) flattened cylindrical shape, flat bottomed, with oval opening at side to insert candle or spirit container. (b) circular galvanized metal insert with four holes to permit heat and air to travel upwards. (c) waterpot of similar cylindrical shape, with flaring spout and thick simple loop handle. (d) cover is flattened, and rests inside lip of pot, and fitted with two hemispherical depressions for fingers. Flaring spout and loop handle matching waterpot. (f) Domed cover with two depressions for fingers.
