Description
The St. Louis Browns baseball team began as the Milwaukee Brewers, who moved to Missouri in 1902. In 52 seasons, the American League franchise had a 3,414-4,465-96 record, earning one trip to the World Series, a 4 games to 2 loss to their hometown rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals, with whom they shared a stadium. The Browns left St. Louis after the 1953 season, becoming the Baltimore Orioles. A new version of the Milwaukee Brewers was Inaugurated in 1969.
