    Summary

    This is a package of Borodin bread is similar to that which Soviet and Russian cosmonauts have taken into space. Food for spaceflight must be nutritious, lightweight, and easily stored. The bread is a common Russian dark Wheat bread that is often served at Russian tables on Earth. The package contains three sets of breads that contain six mini-loaves. All are held in a palm-sized sealed plastic bag.
    The donor of this Borodin bread is unknown, but it was accessioned into the museum collection in 1985.
