Summary
This package contains dehydrated grape drink, which was freeze-dried for ease of packaging and storage during flight. The drink was easily reconstituted by the astronaut with a water probe which dispensed one half ounce of hot or cold water as required, each time the trigger button was pressed.
It was flown on the Apollo 17 mission in December, 1972 but not consumed, and was transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA in 1986.
