Description

Chicago’s Soldier Field was originally named “Grant Park Stadium” when it opened in 1924. The following year, it was renamed “Soldier Field” to honor members of the U.S. military who died in the First World War. It became permanent home to the National Football League’s Chicago Bears in 1971.
