Description
Pair of traditional Iraqi Kurdish men's shoes called "klash." Upper part of the slip-on shoes are off-white cotton yarn hand crocheted in four patterns. At top of the vamp (where foot is inserted) is a small (approximately 1") tassle made of the cotton yarn. The sole of the shoe is a stiff plastic or rubber wrapped with red and blue cotton fabric which is visible on inside bottom of shoes. The heel and toe have small metal tacks hammered in rows into the sole.
