Description
The crest rail is round eared with carved scrolls at center. The seat is characterized by a serpentine front, on thin cabriole legs that terminate in padded slipper feet. The splat is pierced towards the top of the chair, and inlaid with ivory scrolls, fish, ribbons, and torches. An outline of inlaid ivory appears on the seat's frame and arm rests, as well. The chair also has inlaid scrolls and dots on the knees of each front leg.
