Summary

This personal shaver was deisgned for use by the astronauts during the Apollo missions, but was used only during training sessions. Personal hygiene was an important part of the astronaut's health and well being, and the shaver was designed to work without batteries or an electrical outlet. The collection bag attached to the shaver was designed to prevent small particles from dispersing throughout the spacecraft.
Transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA in 1979.
