Description

This back-and-white digital image depicts a line of marchers along the top of a hill during the Selma to Montgomery marches. The marchers, both men and women, are moving forward, some of whom are carrying flags. The photograph is taken at the bottom of the hill, looking up at the marchers with dark clouds in the sky above them.
