    Description

    The light gray and gray plastic case of this handheld electronic calculator has a metal inset around the display. It has twenty-three rectangular plastic keys. These include ten digit keys, a decimal point key, four arithmetic function keys, a total key, a clear all (CA) key, a clear display (CK) key, a % key, a change sign key, and three memory keys. An on/off switch is on the keyboard right of the three top keys. Behind this is an eight-digit green fluorescent display. A tag behind this reads: SANYO (/) CX-8137. A jack for a power adapter is on the back edge.
    The back has a compartment for two AA batteries. Text molded in the case reads in part: SANYO CX-8137 (/) INPUT: DC 3V (TWO “AA” SIZE BATTERIES) (/) or DC 2.8 V (ADAPTOR CU-20) (/) POWER: DC 0.35W (/) SANYO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. BM (/) MADE IN JAPAN / FABRIQUE AU JAPON. A sticker below this reads: NO. 04344841 T.
