Description
Circular, slightly concave plate with 12 pie-wedge sections of various colors in light and dark hues; names of colors in French around rim, above each wedge (starting at top going clockwise): "ROSE, VERT-BLEU, VERT CHRÓME, NOIR, VIOLET DE FER, ROUGE CAPUCINE, ROUGE CHAIR, JAUNE D'ARGENT, BRUN 108, BRUN BITUME, BLEU, POURPRE"; wide circular band of tan glaze overlaps wedges, creating sections of tinted colors; in center of plate, overlapping initials "R[backwards]EC" in tan glaze. Plate mounted in hanger of three metal straps and wire.
