Description
The songs of Pete Seeger made such an impression on Sam Gesser, a young Montreal-based record producer, that Seeger became his first concert promotion. Gesser went on to become one of Canada's most prolific impresarios, and to produce more than one hundred Smithsonian Folkways albums. Sam Gesser died April 1, 2008, six months after this interview. Pete Seeger died January 27, 2014.
