Description

Original lobby card for Universal International Pictures’ 1955 motion picture, Running Wild. Abner Biberman directed this crime drama about a rookie cop and an automobile crime ring run by juvenile delinquents. William Campbell, Mamie Van Doren, and Keenan Wynn star in this film. The card depicts a brawl amongst several teenagers.

Lobby cards were once a popular form of advertisement for motion pictures. The publicity departments of Hollywood studios created cards featuring striking images of their latest films and delivered sets to theatres across the country. Lobby cards were created to entice future audiences and increase ticket sales.
