    Description

This ruled surface has a wooden frame painted black. It has a curved top and bottom and three shaped sides (only one of these is strictly vertical). The surface is ruled in yellow threads. Two tangent lines, one in pink and one in blue, stretch from top to bottom, both lying entirely on the surface.
The model has no maker's marks, but the style is that of Richard P. Baker of the University of Iowa.
