    Summary

This is an unassembled Zenith 2 Payloader flying rocket model built by Model Products. The model has a two stage pasteboard body, balsa fins, plastic nose (w/balsa insert), and a plastic parachute. A solid propellant rocket motor propels the model, and after a short time the first stage separates from the second stage and the latter continues its ascent. At the time of separation the parachute is released, and the first stage is then retrieved for use again. Not included in this kit are the motor, the launch controller that is used to ignite the motor, and the launch pad from which the model is launched.
    G. Harry Stine, one of the American pioneers in the field of flying rockets and missiles, donated this model.
