This is an unassembled flying rocket model, made by Vashon Industries. The body of the rocket, parachute, and launch rails are plastic. The fins and nosecone are plastic. The model used freon as a cold gas propellant. G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of model rockets, donated this artifact to NASM in 1973.
