Description
A poster advertising the 2010 Easter Egg Roll at the White House. The White House Easter Egg Roll offiically began in 1878, the Hayes administration, and has continually taken place on Easter Monday except during World War I and World War II, and during construction of the White House, 1946-1952. The tradition of the wooden egg as a souvenir first appeared in 1981.
