Description

This scale model of a Railway Post Office (RPO) features a fully-detailed interior space. One side of the car is cut-away to allow an interior view of the mail sorting fixtures. It was handcrafted for exhibition use. The precise scale of the model has not been determined, but it may be 1/48th the size of a prototype car. It represents a wooden-body RPO car with a sixty-foot interior.
