Puzzle, Lindbergh, King Collection

A paper box with images and text on the cover. An image of a man flying an airplane across the stars below the text "The FLYING PUZZLE" is located above the directions for the game including how to set up the pieces. Inside the box there are wooden pieces of various shapes and sizes with various words printed on them. The pieces are loose and when they are all placed in the box a small open space is left.

On May 20-21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh literally flew into history when he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in his Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, thus becoming the first pilot to fly solo and nonstop from New York to Paris. This flight made Lindbergh a household name and catapulted him into fame and celebrity.
