Summary
This is a Gemini G2-C pressure suit that the David Clark Company (DCC) made for NASA as part of the preparation for the Gemini program. The G2-C incorporated the lessons learned from testing DCC's first submission, the G1-C. Among its notable features is the aluminized outer fabric. DCC also made improvements in the gloves to allow the astronaut to use the gloves more comfortably while pressurized.
NASA Manned Spacecraft Center transferred this pressure suit to the Museum in 1970 after the conclusion of the Gemini program.
