Summary
This suit is an experimental model, modified from an early SPD-143 full pressure suit. The suit was made by ILC Industries and is considered to be one of the earliest Apollo suits. It was not fitted with a thermal coverlayer, and therefore it is possible to see the inner construction and restraint system.
Transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA in 1973.
