This spacesuit was worn by David Scott, command module pilot of the Apollo 9 mission in March 1969, the mission designed to test Apollo rendezvous and docking procedures.

The A7-L spacesuit is in the IV (intra-vehicular) configuration, with one set of life support attachment ports on the right of the upper torso.
