Summary
This is a prototype pressure garment assembly (PGA) that ILC Industries submitted for testing to NASA in preparation for the Apollo program. ILC technicians fitted this suit for a NASA technician named Jackson, possibly for testing in a vaccuum chamber. The A5 series of spacsuits were the next to last test series ILC submitted to NASA. The final, flown Apollo suits bore the designation A7-L.
NASA Manned Spacecraft Center transferred this suit to the Museum in 1971.
