Object Details
Description
Postal inspectors always carry credentials identifying them as members of the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency. As early as 1884, Inspection Service credentials included the postal inspector’s photograph; this travel commission does not include a photograph as it predates that era and predates the title "postal inspector," but refers to the employee as a "Special Agent."
