    Said to have collected in the 1860s by Mr. O'Connor, a foreman for the Union Pacific Railroad in Nebraska; purchased by George Moore (an antiquities dealer in Cambridge, Nebraska) from Mr. O'Connor in 1887 or 1888; purchased by George Heye in 1914, possibly from George Moore.
